Thanks Dan Killough - Custom Falcon Rifle

A few months ago, I contacted Dan Killough about building a custom .22 rilfe according to the way I wanted it. I didn't want a traditional BR looking rifle but I wanted it to shoot just as good. I basically wanted my vision of the ultimate bolt gun.

Dan created it in spades! Of course, I have Richard Gorham to thank as well.

Specifications:

• McMillan Anschutz BR-50 stock
• Baity's Custom Falcon action
• Baity's Custom 20MOA rail, built to my specifications
• Shillen 'octagon rifling' barrel (amazing!)
• Timney 20oz trigger with adjustable fore/aft/cant (crisp!)
• Harrel tuner
• Nightforce BR 12-42
• Nightforce rings

I didn't post targets, but it is the best shooter we've seen at the range. I shot a perfect 500 50x today at 100yds (3/4" bull). I just can't tell you how happy I am with the rifle as well as Dan's quick response to questions, expert advice and attention to detail.

This is simply everything I could have possibly imagined.

So, now those of you looking at the Falcon action as the basis of your next build, let me help you with a few pictures which are few and far between. Oh, and call Dan!

Douglas, it is a contoured barrel, that starts at 1.125 and tapers down to 0.82.

Hey Fred, I just talked with Johnathan at Baity's and told him how I wanted it to look (one piece cut-out) and that I wanted 20 MOA so I could use standard, medium Nightforce rings that I got from Dan.
