Most in the Benchrest community know Lou; but for those who do not, let me say that he as contributed as much or more to the accuracy game as anyone. He spends countless time and money in a quest to improve accuracy.....not only for himself, but for the entire BR community.

He has helped bring us March Scopes, XBR 8208 powder, Lt-32, and LT-30 powder.

Recently, he shot some amazing groups and agg. at Phoenix. In this match he used a rail gun that featured a new chamber design from Pacific Tool, but he did not keep this design a "secret" from the rest of the shooting world, but posted it for all to see.

While I was writing for Precision Shooting magazine, he loaned me a March scope (before they were available from Kelbly's), the base for his rail gun, and some new Column bullets before they were available to the public. I will take this opportunity to thank this unselfish shooter for all of his contributions to our sport. Thank you Lou, James Mock

I think that Lou also tested the Berger Column bullets in his tunnel as well and had much input on those as.

he did indeed, I brought Eric over to meet Lou at the super shoot a few years ago where we discussed making some bullets with the help of Berger, but it became apparernt that our dies would not fit into their equipment, but the offer came to assist in product development for a new benchrest bullet. my part is insignificant but it was a neat process, and I wish that Eric would or could write an article on the process that was followed and the end result, really neat stuff,
