Guys I have a question for the experts out there. When you are testing ammo, do you clean in between different lots? Do you clean in between different types of ammo by the same manufacturer? Do you clean in between different manufacturers? Do you just clean in your normal way?
Thanks for your help.

Rob

Be careful what you folkes tell Rob, he will probably be on Australian Team for WRABF World Champs USA in 2011 & he may be a spy :D

I clean between different brands but not between different lots. I don't clean between different grades if it is the same type of ammo..ie between black box and red box eley. We aren't concerned too much about spys. It should just be a clinic anyway.

eley cleans once a day after all their testing is done.

Maybe that is why our chrono results won't duplicate their numbers.

Rob,
Isn’t Bill Calfee a sponsor for the Team Australia?
Why not get the team captain (Bill) to ask him.

Martin,
I always thought Eley have stated that they never clean their test barrels.

Martin,
In the past Eley have said they don’t clean their test barrels, but it looks like at some point they have changed.
