I hesitate posting this but Tennessee gubernatorial candidate Bill Haslem is after our guns. Mr. Haslem had previously made the policy statement that Tennessee concealed carry permit holders should be able to keep their permitted gun locked in their cars on their employers property regardless of the employers desire.
WJHL-TV news reported this morning (as a news item) that on Monday Mr. Haslem issued a contradicting statement that permitted concealed carry should NOT be able to carry their legal guns on company property.
Add this to the fact that for 6 years Mr. Haslem, while the mayor of Knoxville Tennessee, was a co-founder and member of New York City Michael Blumbergs Mayors Against Handguns coalition. One year ago, just before entering the Tennessee's Governors race, Mr. Haslem dropped out of that coalition and sent $1000 to the NRA for a Life Membership.
Gee, we need to support this type of political candidate.
