Wind,rain all day...LD made a temporary target frame so we could shoot from benches in the garage out of the rain. Wind even blew into garage,so a wind flag was used inside..lol...
LD will post results...

Great pics Rich! Gotta love seeing that wind flag pegged horizontal in the garage! Do you guys find the propellers to be very usable as an indicator of wind speed?

Not as reliable as da flag...once propellar reaches certain RPM,very hard to determine 'wind velocity' shifts...IMO

Thanks Rich, hmmm, check out the Australian made Wind Flags that Shade Tree Engineering sells, supposedly their props are good for gauging speed.

Can't wait for Sunday's match up here even though its nothing like the games you guys shoot at 25m or 50yds.

Are you shooting at the Angeles Match this weekend?

Well, when the entire target frame blows over, though anchored by a heavy cinder block and large rock (like it did on the 2nd relay), thats the time to not shoot til the wiind drops off some. I woulda thot the cardboard bein so heavy from the rain it woudn't blow over like it did.
