We had a good turnout today, with eight shooters firing nine guns, Winds were pretty switchy, but fairly mild. It got a bit hot today, reaching into the 90's, so summer is finally here!
WE tried a slightly new format, reducing our group shooting to two cards (of ten three shot groups each), then firing a few cards with one shot per bull for score on the same A-36 target we normally use to shoot groups on.
Here are the results:
Groups Event:
Name Match 1 Match 2 Aggregate
Matt Saenz .438 .491 .464
Larry Durham .572 .361 .466
Roger Lovett .522 .487 .504
Roger Lovett .630 .416 .523 .177
Tim McMurray .507 .540 .523
Matt Kellerman .617 .650 .633
Joe Brancato .681 .730 .705
Rich Wood .785 .798 .791 .177
Dave Fredric .975 1.18 .1.077 .177
Tim Donaldson .dnf dnf dnf .177
---------------------------------------------------
Bullseye event***
Larry Durham 80/100 89/100
Matt Kellerman 78/100
Roger Lovett 69/100
Matt Saenz 67/100
Roger Lovette 56/100
Tim McMurray 55/100 83/100
Dave Fredric 46/100
Rich Wood 41/100
Joe Brancato 27/100 55/100
Tim D 0/100
Note Some shooter didn't fire more than one bullseye target, and some fired more, but I can't find their scores right now. This was an experimental and quite fun match, we will likely continue to fire them at least on occasion, in order to compare accuracy versus precision in an interesting manner under the same conditions
