Sunday was first effort using the International targets Rich Wood had made up for us. We shot only at 25 meters, forgoing our usual 50M shoot because the rain was slowing things down. Unfortunately, the weather was pretty dismal during the match. I had anticipated the rain, so I cleaned up the and built an extra table to allow us to shoot on the upper, or "West Range" so we still had a fine shoot, and with the picnic area being covered, we were ok there too (the Sun came out once we were done shooting anyhow).
We had several shooters, including myself trying the reduced power level the international rules specify. And most of us were having teething problems with the new settings. I made my very first shots with the new lighter JSB pellets just before the match began. Rich was trying his co2 gun at temps dropping below 60F for sure.
As usual, swirling winds, but its the first time I noticed just HOW windy it was inside the garage, as we had a flag halfway in the garage in the propeller was often spinning merrily!
