Tell Me About Your Fixed Power Scope 30x Or Higher

I've always been a big fan of fixed power scopes but have only ever dealt with 10 and 12x before. Now I am into groundhog shoots and 1k br and may be interested in a fixed 36x of some make. I have leupys and nf variables on my br guns now. I guess what I want to know does mirage and not being able to turn down the power ever become a problem for you that use the fixed powers. Thanks for any and all info.

The only problem with a 40X fixed power, is, when there is alot of mirage it compresses all of it and makes it harder to tell where the mirage is, yardage wise, upon trying to read it. With a 12X, you have enough field of view to be able to see and judge WHICH mirage you are trying to read.
