Can anyone from NBRSA, IBS, or Williamsport tell me the legal seperation between targets , minimum and maximum distance between targets for 600 yard and 1000 yard matches? thanks, Ron Tilley

Like Dave and Don said, there is no specified distance for either NBRSA or IBS. I believe that the target systems we are using out west were built to accomodate Palma and XC shooters and we simply use them as is. You might PM Asa Yam or Jerry HM and see if they know or can maybe direct you to somebody who does.

Good shootin, BTW, last weekend.

On almost all NRA type ranges (Highpower, Long-Range, Palma) targets are spaced on 8 foot centers. Since the targets themselves are 6 feet square, that separation allows enough room to walk in between them for target handling and also provides adequate space on the firing line.
