Right now I'm dealing with my 30br. I want to understand the two terms when talking or reading about tangent, or ogive.

Ogive of 7 or 10 ???

I don't understand..

Thanks, Kelly

Tangent Ojive

That is the shap and curve of the bullet at the point working back to the bearing surface of the bullet. The 7 is a pretty standard ojive the 10 is the low drag higher bc bullet. Usually the 10 is used for longer ranges.
The 10 does drift less at long range due to the profile of the bullet.
I like the 7 to 8 ojive . I'm working with a 8 ojive for intermediate ranges to 600 yds Quality is what counts.
