Hi all.
Hope everyone had a great weekend of shooting. We had a great turnout, and beautiful weekend of shooting.
Tacoma Rifle and Revolver Club held their 3rd match of the year on the first weekend in June.
This 2 gun match would determine the winner of the Heavy Varmint / Unlimited NW Regional.
Saturday brought us a warm morning with some moderate wind conditions.
We began with our Heavy Varmint class at 100 yards on Saturday morning which was won by Steve Kostanich with a .2194" agg.
That afternoon at 200 things heated up quickly, and the winds became severe! The group sizes opened up quickly!
Mark Walker showed us all how to handle the aggressive flag switches and mirage, taking the 200 yd with a .2849" agg.
Mark Walker held on to win the HV grand aggregate (.2740").
Sunday was a great day to bring out the rail guns. Weather was dry and warm, with temps in the 80`s
We shot the Unlimited class at 200 yards in the morning.
Finding steady conditions was difficult. Mirage got heavy as the temperature rose.
Steve Kostanich shot a .tiny .1547" agg. to win at 200 yards. In the afternoon, at 100 yards, Mark Walker shot smallest with a tiny .1790" teen agg.
Steve Kostanich held on to win the HV grand aggregate with a .1863" agg, and Steve Kostanich holds on to win the 2 gun by just a couple thousandths of an inch with a .2323" agg!!
Congratulations to Steve Kostanich on his fine shooting, and winning the Northwest Heavy Varmint / Unlimited Regional !

Nice to have shooting with us Larry Muller who traveled from Oregon. Gary Templin and his wife Roxy made a special trip up from Oregon just to check out the range and see what the fuss was all about. Hope to see them return soon.
Newer TRRC shooters Ira Gross, Bob Schultz and Khanh Nguyen shot with us on Saturday. A big thanks to the group for making them all feel welcome.
Special thanks to Craig Kensler, Karen and Jim Lynn and Zach Silverton for doing a superb job running all aspects of our match.
