Switch Barrel

I HAVE A 6mm dasher and am looking to put a switch barrel on it so i can save my match barrel and still have hunting gun as weel as a match gun, as was looking at a 6.5x284, but is it the best thing to do for a hunting barrel what calibers would you guys recommend?
