Where can a guy get a firing pin spring for a swindlehurst action bolt and are the hard to replace? I am having some Eley Match EPS shells not going off and when I take them out and rechamber they fire the second time. Could this explane some wild shots I am having? Bigroe
 
I can't answer your question but maybe I can offer a suggestion. Check the firing pin slot to see if it's rubbing or touching or if there's some sort of obstruction in the hole. Also you might check head spacing.
 
I second the check of the firing pin slot. Since these are exposed they can get fouled with powder residue, dirt, etc. I always cleaned and lubed the FP slot thourghly every time I cleaned the bore.

If you havent already figured it out the firing pin is not held down in the front and you can tip it up to clean the slot out and sides of firing pin. That Eley lube and snow doesnt mix.
