I got my Suhl back today. I really like this new look of the the EDGE stock. And the paint looks awesome. I took these pictures under fluorescent lighting. I hope they will better show off this great paint job that Gary Lemons did for me. Super job Gary! I think it looks even better in person. I hope you guys don't mind me showing it off a little. ;)

brad the gun looks great. i was thinking about a mcmillan stock for mine, but from the way it was shooting the last time i shot it i won't be changing a thing. when something works it's time to leave it alone. but your gun looks great. a few monthes ago somebody sold one of those rests in the classifieds for $450. i should have baught it. he pretty much gave it away.

Nice looking gun!!!!

Gary had mentioned how, if I got a chance I should see some of his work ...and now I have. Simply Awesome job Gary, and congratulations to brad541thb on owning such a nice looking piece. Now, if it will only shoot as good as it looks you'll have an all-round winner.

The Suhl's looking good Brad!! I had Bill Myers rebarrel mine with a 1:16. The 17.5 was giving me troubles in the colder weather up here in the NE.

Best,
Michael

Brad have you lost your mind, what were you thinking it is butt ugly

always nice to see rifles and owners who care

Jeff from canada

Fred,

Gary did the bedding.

Thanks guys for the compliments.

Michael,

That is a Benchmark 16.5" twist 6 groove 26" barrel that Gene Davis put on it last year. Gary said it shot real well for him. I haven't shot it with the new EDGE stock yet. I will tomorrow hopefully. I do know the gun shoots better than me.

brad you said you wanted to see some targets. i did this today with a cross wind. i'm going to start shooting at least 2 targets a day no matter what the wind is doing. the first target the wind messed with me bad because it was switching directions. it made it's mind up on the second so i kinda got really really luck. this wind messes with me bad. i have got to shoot in it so i'll be trying my best to figure it out better. the thing is when you think you have it figured out it throws you a curve ball and leaves you saying, "what in the hell was that and where dod it come from?" with the way my gun is shooting now i have no plans on doing anything but cleaning the barrel out after each 2 targets. take that pretty gun out and show us what it can do. if i'm home saturday i'm going to shoot in a ibs centerfire match. the gun isn't ready yet, but i gotta see what it can doright now.

Wow, that is just beautiful. I think some silver rings and a silver sunshade would really make that gun POP!

But plenty nice as is. Congrats. GG

Derek,

Excellent shooting. I wouldn't mess with that gun either. Super targets.

Thanks Gordon.

Dave,

In all fairness to Gary, the pictures above don't do the painting he did justice. So I took these to hopefully better show off the fantastic job that Gary did. He's very good at what he does. ;) I got closer up so you can better see in detail how it looks.

Nice looking gun!!! Gary has started to make Airgun stocks for benchrest.
He is going to make me one and he asked what color? I told him it didn't matter and told him to use any left over paint. I now hope he has some left over from your paint job.

Paul

Brad,

Thanks for the close-ups. As Paul said, Gary is creating stocks for our guns as we speak, and I'm glad he's the man doing the work because what he did for you is truly a work of art!

Dave

Thanks again men.

The stock will look even better in the sun I do believe.

I'm truely happy with it.
