Strips of carbon graphite?

Due to my clumsiness, I have a propensity to get little dings on the bottom of the butt of my two wood (cedar) and carbon graphite stocks. I really should be more careful, but I try, I really do... so I'm looking for a couple of 1" X 12" strips of carbon graphite to laminate to this portion of my stocks. Could anyone here help me find a source? Of course, I would buy a larger amount if necessary.
Thanks
Mark

Sound advice FB...Why didn't I think of that...Google you say?
Actually, I was hoping that someone here might use it frequently and have some scraps left that they might sell to me instead of wasting the rest of a larger piece.
Thanks anyway!

Didn't say or mean free! That would be stereotyping on your part. I've checked the local hobby shops (2) with no success. Oh well...theres plenty of winter left to look. :)

Well, when I got the one rifle, it had a small but somewhat unsightly dent/chip at the rear bottom of the stock, and I like my stuff to look good, so I had determined that a proper repair would look a lot better and that the carbon fiber would add some strength to that area. As well, in my own twisted view, with both stocks already having carbon fiber on the bottoms of the forearms, I thought it might fit in quite well with the look already there.
These are both good stocks, but I think the cedar is really soft, I don't know if I would go there again.

I've got plenty of carbon fiber (plain fabric) scraps you can mess with if you want, but you'll need an epoxy that'll work with the carbon fiber to saturate and bond it to the stock.

If you're looking for epoxy impregnated sheets to glue to the stock, you can google up suppliers easily.

I'm working on a couple of cedar and carbon fiber laminates right now. Cedar is some pretty soft stuff but the right laminating can add a lot of stiffness.

You'll have to be careful how much "repairing" you are doing... an ugly stock that makes weight will agg better than a beautiful stock that gets you tossed out for being over weight.
