Strategic Edge located in Chapel Hill Tennessee may be new to hosting UBR 100/300 yard matches, but the shooters in attendance were certainly not new to the UBR game. We had 15 rifles competing, and we couldn't have asked more from the weather gods in late June: 85 degrees, mostly cloudy, and minimal winds. Congratulations to Scotty Crawford for winning the Custom Class with a 258-100yd, 248-300 yd, 506 grand ag....which I think may be a new UBR 300 yard record. Not to be outdone, Gary Lawrence won the Factory Class with a 243-100 yd, 241-300 yd, 484 Grand Ag and he may have also set a 300 yd record as well as a Grand Ag record. Rick Fox took the Unlimited category with a Grand Ag of 494.

That was impressive shooting!

Thanks to all that attended, and we look forward to seeing you at the next Strategic Edge event.

Regards,
Mike Noli

Great Shoot!

Thanks to Mike, Tony and the whole Strategic Edge crew for a great match. Congradulations also needs to go to 18 year Austin Harber , his first UBR Shoot and shoots a new record for Modified class 300 yard agg. No one knew he had broken the record until Gary Lawrence brought it to everyones attention Today. Congrats again! Scotty

Austin's 300 yd, Modified, UBR record

Thanks Scotty, you beat me to congratulating Austin. I know I took notice at how well he was shooting but it didn't even occur to me to check his scores vs. the records.

4 new potential records all in the same day, and as someone pointed out to me all 3 shooters from Chapel Hill, TN. That's newsworthy itself.

I have been telling guys that the ultra flat - mostly wide open range at Strategic Edge is perfect for shooting. In just a few months the "new" part of the range will be open out to 1250 yes, and I am sure they will attract a lot of other competitions.

Congratulations!

Congratulations to all three shooters! (Three of our local members I might add.... cough cough)

Thanks to Mike for all the hard work, tough to run a match in the first place but even worse when you are trying to shoot too!

We are always glad to have the benchrest shooters at our range, great bunch of guys!

Tony
