not sure but

I will post early then get out of this topic as I am not qualified enough to let you decide on my opinion alone, but here is what I think I know

1. bat machine pillars them very well, my results indicate it works, and tom d has a swindlehurst as well as centerfire guns
robertson composites pillars them very well, in fact they say they dont need the "plate" or "bedding plate" to make them work well, could be they just know what they are doing, being a world class shooter and stockmaker.

I like the idea of being able to take the gun out of the stock for transportation (internationally)

that said a poor gluein is not going to hold point of impact well at all.

some of the great rimfire STOCK WORK is in pillars, a glue in is easy and covers up non cnc work. If you get a stock inletted properly and beddded properly you would be amazed, maybe email me and I will locate the pillar job I speak of and then post it for all to see

that is all I can add except for emailing the pics, dont know how to post here, with pics and dial up internet allows me to stay off topics where pics are needed.
what do the competitors at the nationals do or guys like 1813benny and some other prone shooters,

Jefferson
