Stock Rules, Regulations, and Questions in General.

I'm building two stocks for CZ 452's and would like some recommendations. I bought enough walnut for two with plenty of fat left over. I'm a noob and don't know what rules I must abide by with regard to certain stock dimensions and gun weight. Any info as well stock preferences among you guys would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking at patterning them loosely after an Anshutz style or Kelbly Lee Six. Thanks.
