ok guys i'm am buying and moving froward.

there is a stock listed in the classifieds...anyone use this ??(1000 master).

then as i have said, i am on a budget, and the subject of sleeving the action has come up. does the advantage out weigh the cost...do they make them in left hand ?

The Master Class stock is a nice stock. As to the sleeve or no sleeve on a Remington everyone has there own opinion on when it is needed or wether it is needed at all.Anytime you start adding $$$$ to a Remington the build starts approaching that of a nice thick custom without the cutout.

Since you already have the action I would go with it.If your intention is to go all out sell your current bolt in the classifieds and order up a Kiff with every option.Send the action to Greg Tannel and have him do the rest.
You'll end up with a 0.062 firing pin,0.704 bolt body,Tight bolt shroud,Coned bolt and your choice of extraction for pennies on what it would cost to do the same work on your bolt plus you got $125 for yours to start with.
If your bedding gives up on you add a sleeve or barrel block at that time,

Mike,

If you use a tapered barrel in HV taper then it should work OK without a sleeve or bedding block. I would epoxy a solid floor plate in the action and bed the action with a good bedding material. The stock you mentioned is a very good stock for long range benchrest use.
