Stock choice for a light weight tactical rifle

I would like to build a real world tack driver. The loose idea I am starting with is a 10 lbs. rig, scope included. It should be capable of moa accuracy out to 800 yds or more. I don't want a barrel longer than 26" and 22-24" might be ideal for carrying and balance. Will most likely be chambered for something 6.5, 7mm or 30. (6.5x284, 284, 260, 6.5x47) Might consider a 6BR derivative.

I have some questions:

1.) Considering barrel length/weight is it better to go with a heavier contour (like #7) and get it fluted or say a #5 unfluted?
2.) Is there an ideal stock to keep the weight down under 10# finished? Obviously if it is too light with a heavier barrel, balance is lost
3.) I currently have a Win70 Long action bedded in a McMillan A2. I want to consider taking the heavy bull barrel off of it and installing a lighter barrel. Any idea what a McMillan A2 weighs? Is it possible to use this platform for a 10# rifle or will I be too limited in barrel weight. if so, would like suggestions on ideal stock/action combos.
