Being unfamiliar with the 22TCM cartridge, I had to review the Rock Island web pages to find out what it was about. Cute little cartridge but I have to wonder why you would re-barrel your Ruger 77 in 22 Hornet for it. If you were dissatisfied with the Hornet I would think the 221 Remington Fireball would have been a better choice especially now that Lapua makes cases for it and sizing and seater dies are readily available.

We need a little more information in order to help you. Who chambered the new barrel? If it was installed by Rock Island I would contact them with the problem. Sounds like simply a bad chamber possibly with chip rings which often cause extraction problems.
