stickey bolt on my Finnfire

My newly purchased [used] Finnfire does not have a smooth bolt. Maybe 1/3 of the time after a shot, I can raise the bolt, but i have to lower the bolt before I can raise it and eject a empty. The sear is set at less than a pound, closer ti 1/2 lb. I am wondering if it is set too low for the sear to reset? And in general, the bolt is just not smooth, feels like it is binding. NOT nearly as smooth as my other 595's.

Loosen action screws and see if it frees up. If so, then something is dragging or stressing the action.

Bingo, Burtona. The barrel had been bedded for about 4". When I took out the receiver from the stock, the bolt was normal. The action screws had to be loose for the bolt to work, taking out the bedding made everything
hunky-dory.
