Steve Archibald of the Palomino Valley Gun Club near Reno, NV passed away on New Year's Day at the age of 68. Steve was responsible for designing and building the 100-300 yard benchrest range at the Washoe County Regional Shooting Facility north of Reno. Steve, along with a dedicated group of volunteers (including his father Don and his children Cody, Travis, and Sarah), hosted many NBRSA group matches from around 2000 to 2017. Several years ago, Steve had moved to Kirksville, MO to be closer to his wife Brenda's family. Steve was preparing to finally start competing in benchrest again this year before his untimely passing. We are diminished.
