Mike:

I've been exchanging emails with Tom Libby and hope to get an update from him later today.

Both Libby and Gary Sinclair say it has been cold and windy in the days leading up to the competition - including some rain. They said that sometimes practice seemed like a waste of powder and bullets. In an email from Sinclair, he said the wind was moving his bullets 2" at 100 yards. I hope the weather can settle down some so the competition won't be too effected by the elements.

I checked weather.com earlier today and it says rain this afternoon and tomorrow. Oh well, it is the same for everyone. I can't imagine it will be blowing any harder that at the Cactus this year.

Hottenstein won the 100 yrd. LV with a .20 agg, G. Kelbly Sr. was a close second.

No rain, cool but steady temperatures, slow but circulating winds...................should make for small groups and aggs. for Kelblys range...................Don

Wade Hull of Shilen Rifles finished 9th today! I'm real proud of him and his shooting. He has been really working hard to get Shilen barrels on top.
