Sprocket bearing hub anyone???

Bored. Half hour cycle time on these buggers so I snapped a few pics.

Have no clue what the thing is supposed to do, but they look kinda neat. Wish I had prints for these dern things. Backassing vintage parts all the time proves to be tedius.

This is a 1909 H/D intake valve pocket and valve. I'll be working on refurbishing a bunch of heads next. Atmospheric intake valve engines are interesting to fiddle with. They sound kinda funky too when running.

Variety is the spice of life, but everything in moderation.

I think you have a good thing going. Watching a Deckel Maho 5 axis on a 23 hour cycle time can get tiresome, but a new job to program makes the hours fly by! The shop I work in is moving to digital part models instead of prints. They are nice to program from and can really speed things up once you get used to them. When we do reverse engineering we are sometimes laser scanning the sample to help create a digital model.
