Anyone have any info on todays sporter nationals at Kettlefoot????????
Gary

I heard Truman Weber won the match with a 748 for three targets. I think everyone is too concerned with tomorrow's weather forecast to remember to post results!

I just got back from the Sporter Nationals and even though I had to leave before the award ceremony I can supply some more info.

- Truman Weber did win with a 748
- Keith Lovan was second (I think he also shot a 748)
- Greg Davis was third with a 747 (he started the event with 2 -250s and was the buzz of the event (I think the X counts were 17 and 19.)
- Ernie Jenderko came in 4th I believe.

Every target was won with a 250. I know Greg Davis won the second target and Bob Raide won the third.

Conditions for the first two targets were overcast to light drizzle with little to no wind. For the third target the sun came out and the wind arrived and was very switchy.

Every target was won with a Gordon Eck smithed sporter and I know that Truman, Greg and Ernie were all shooting Eck sporters. His work has certainly raised the bar for the Sporter Class. Gordon, you should be proud and I'm sure the Sporter National is just the beginning of the success of your rifles this weekend.

sounds like I missed a hellofa match I was gonna shoot this match but my doctor called thursday and I had to go see him, so i'm gonna be out of the game awhile longer looks like another hip surgery.......... I'll try again next year.
But anyway congratulations Truman, Keith, and most of all Greg way too go buddy back to back 250's with a sporter that's simply awesome!!!!!!!!!!
