50/50 rules stipulate action must be magazine feed, rba rules state magazine not required after sometime in 2008, the last 50/50 shoot i attended most sporters there did not have a magazine, what am i misssing??? am i going to need two different sporters then, one for 50/50 and one for rba??

Build one that fits IR 50/50 rules and you only need one. There is no performance penalty in shooting one with safety, magazine, and convex stock bottom. No one actually feeds from the magazine and the rules only say it has to be capable of doing so. That is to keep some wiseacre from taping one to the side of the stock.

nipper,
If indeed those sporters shooting that match you attended did not comply with the IR50/50 sporter class rules, those scores should have been disqualified.

Sporter"s

Bill, I shot both of the matches with you that day and I assure you that all of the sporters on the line that day had magazines and safetys, including the one that was loaned to you for the match. I think what might have misled you is the fact that you saw everyone single loading the guns, which is perfectly legal. The rule for IR50/50 Sporter states that it must have the "capability" to feed from the magazine, not that you must utilize this capability in the match. Kent is right, the RBA rules are a bit more open and do not require a magazine nor a safety. Looking forward to seeing you in Jacksonville soon. Bill

bill i could of missed the magazine ability thats correct, i didnt "look" for one, i am looking foward to shooting there
