Thanks once again to Norman Jones and his crew for a top notch shoot. Norman, while under duress from a serious medical condition, he stayed on the match directors stand and took the Southeast region through its 100 yard stage of the Southeast Region 2012 4-gun tournament.
While I can't remember all the top shooters, I remember particularly Larry Costa, Jim Carmichel and Jeff Summers being really on top of their game. Jeff didn't place in the 4-gun award because he wanted to try out a new barrel on a bag gun he had recently chambered and only shot 5 shots per target on some of the Unlimited 10-shot event.
There were several new centerfire shooters at this event that really shot well also. One name I remember was Marc Nachman a well known rimfire shooter. Couple of new shooters from Florida who did really well. Nice to see new shooters coming into the game (yes Wayne, a game, tee hee).
Hopefully someone with the list or better memory than myself will post the match results.
