South Creek Michelle Sutton Memorial Match

The South Creek Northern Tier Sportsman Club will be holding the Michelle Sutton Memorial Charity IBS Registered match on June 21 and 22, 2008.

There are some changes to teh program for this year at South Creek. Aggregate rotation will be used. A rotation of 7 benches will occur at the conclusion of each aggregate. Up to 4 shooters can share flags/equipment per IBS rules--so 4 individuals could be on 2 benches on 2 relays and squaded to allow the rotation to reduce flag setting time.

To facilitate the sharing --preregistrations will be accepted. Pre-registrations can be sent or phoned to me (Jim Borden 570-965-2505).

The net proceeds from the shoot will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

It will be a HV/LV 100/200 yard shoot.

A full set of details will be soon posted on the featured events portion of the IBS web page.

Looking forward to seeing lots of of you there

South Creek

Jim,
That's great news,we all owe You, the IBS , Jack Demming and the whole South Creek crew a big "thank you" for keeping the charity shoot going as the Michelle Sutton Memorial. The rotation on the agg is also good news, some folks don't like all that flag setting, never bothered me, I find it kinda relaxing. Anyway, for those of you who have never been to South Creek ,you should put it on your calender, It's a well run match in some beautiful country, last time I was there I saw a black bear on the road to the club, and always lots of deer!

Donation's ?

Jim,

I would be in for making a cash donation toward the prize monies. It's been some years since I attended this match. If my memory serves me most participants had donated their winning's towards the cause.

As a side note, How's is the Hoggin'(Varmit hunting) up that way. Maybe spend a couple extra days if we could find a place to hunt.

Regards, Pat Hurley

Donations Welcome

Pat

You are correct--most of the winners usually donate their winnings and some times add some so Jack can forward to the American Cancer Society. Jack Deming would be happy and so would the rest of us if you decided to make a donation.

The woodchuck hunting in that area is fairly good these days. Most of the farms around there just need to be asked and most will allow hunting.

Hope to see you there

Jim

Thanks and hope to see you there. A number of individuals have pitched in to help South Creek make this match a reality this year. Larry and Cindy Hertzog, Jack Sutton, Gary and Kim Amatrudo, Bob and Edna White, George Stickler, Jack and Judy Deming and family are just a few of the names that readily come to mind. As many clubs will find out--it takes quite a few folks to step in and fill the shoes that Michelle left for us.
