Some basic questions

I have a Rem 513T and a CZ 453 Varmint that are shooting very well. I want to pull them from their stocks to look at bedding and maybe refinish. Is there any precautions other than torque of the action screws? I'll probably do more extensive stock work on the 513T.

Thanks,
Regis

No.

And regarding the "torque of the action screws"....... the action screws are there to keep the stock from falling off. They don't need to be "torqued", just snug them up with your fingers on the small screwdriver/wrench.
