Smiley flag, daisy wheel problem.

Hey guys, I have two propellers on my Smiley flags that are cracked, what is a good glue to use to fix them? I tried Super glue, and it took a long time to dry, never adhered just left a white shadow where the crack is. I tried PVC cement, and it worked a little better, but still did not fix the crack. I thought of model airplane glue, but I cant find this stuff anymore. Anyone know of a good glue for the plastic used in these daisy wheels?

Daisy wheels

New daisy wheels are nearly as cheep as the glue to try and fix your broken ones. Contact Smiley or Dave Halbolm either one can sent you up with new daisy's. PS: The new ones are more pliable and less prone to breaking. Tony

Thank you Tony, I thought about contacting Smiley, and seeing about getting new ones. Just for a back up how do I get a hold of Dave?

Those cracks will probably melt together using a suitable heat source...soldering iron, big nail, kitchen drawer chisel... The plastic has to fully melt for this to work well.

Loctite's plastic glue is supposed to be very good.

I have used Napa's Plastic epoxy for several years with good results.
