I will order a single stage press today.

I like the price of the Lee Clasic Cast, and the primer drop through the ram.

What about the Lyman Crush/Orange Crush? What is the split by the die opening for?

What do you think of these two presses?

I have had good luck with Bob Dodds "0" press. These are Benchrest presses and are designed for PPC/BR length cases. I have no knowledge of the ones you asked about.

working with PPC/BR size cases you can't beat the RCBS Partner press.

You would be hard pressed to do better than the Lee for a home press. I know a MAJOR bullet maker who thinks enuf of the design and construction of the Lee to convert them for his bullet making business, Have to be more than damn accurate and damn strong to be used for making bullets.

I own one RCBS ROCK CHUCKER SUPREME press and two PARTNER presses. All three are great, but if I had to do it again, I'd buy three PARTNER presses. They do the job and do it well.
