Simmons 6x40 Target Scope ?

Local shop has a Simmons 6x40 target scope, I have never seen one like it, it is made in Japan, has target type adjustments fine dual x type reticle, any of you gentlemen ever seen or used one?

calling any Simmons scope a target scope is like calling a Pinto a Cadillac
 
Just thought you guys might know what it is, I have a Sightron 6HBR scope so I don't need it, just thought it was interesting as I have never seen one, Simmons scopes made in Japan aren't all that bad, I have a variable Simmons made in Japan that I purchased new several years ago, 1000 plus rounds later on a 243 Ackley it's still going strong with no issues.
 
Just to put things in the proper perspective, what do you shoot with the 243 Ackley?

my suggestion would be to seriously consider a Leupold 6X target scope if that is the size, style and magnification you want. You can not beat the lifetime warranty and Leupold service. Expensive, yes...worth it...yes imo. Good luck.
