Sights for a Colt Python

You guys have all the answers.. I received the following email from Germany and am stumped...can anyone help? The partridge sight he refers to is a type rather than a vendor if I am not mistaken.

"Dear Jeff,

I am an enthusiastic precision shooting reader since 2004. Every year I prolong my subscription and do not intend to change this situation. Beside rifle shooting I am a handgun competition shooter. One of my handguns is a colt python. Unfortunately this sixgun has a standard front and rear sight. I know there exist a rear sight called Elliason and a front sight called Patridge, especially for target shooting. Now my question: Do you know a seller where I can buy it? I live in Germany and there is no seller in my country. I just need the information. Than I can contact directly the US seller.
I hope you can help me.

Best regards and good shooting.

Dr. Alexander Hufnagl"

The correct term is indeed "Patridge" style sight, not 'partridge' (which is a bird, and surname of a 70s TV show family).

Did you/he try Google? In just over half a second, a search turned up these leads: http://www.google.com/search?q=elia...s=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a

And how about asking Colt directly? Google yields this: http://www.coltsmfg.com/products-c1-Colt_Revolvers.aspx

Google-fu is an easy skill to develop.

Also, we're visiting Germany this year, so presuming it's legal, I could obtain the item(s) he wants and bring them over if he's nearby our route. :D

Thanks Bill, I did Google it, but since I had the wrong spelling it did not help. May I give you the fellows email address to further the conversation with someone more knowledgeable than me?

You can reach me at jstover33@verizon.net
