If you're not going to use your reticle for distance estimation or for hold-over and/or hold-off aiming, then get the simpler reticle.
You might also check the Sightron site to see which, if either of them, has the thickness dimension you might prefer. Some like thicker reticles, some like thinner.
For me, it's usually the mildot or other ranging type reticle, because of the versatility they offer. Some don't like the 'distraction' of reticles that have such features.
