Sierra MatchKings for 7MM Remington Mag

I have some 168gr Sierra MatchKings and would appreciate some suggestions for an accuracy load in a 24 1/2 inch barreled 7MM Remington Magnum sporter. I'll be shooting 100 and 200 yards and have the following powders on hand: H-1000, IMR 4831, H4831sc, RL 22, IMR 4350, VV N140, VV N160. Since it's an accuracy load I don't mind jamming the bullet if that is best. I also have Fed GM 215 Primers, as well as WLR and CCI 200. Any experience with any of these powders and powder charge and the 168 grain Sierra Match bullet is appreciated.

I tried R25 with the 168grSMK with not much luck. I'm going with R22 next. I use R22 for 120-162gr bullets in 7mm Mag with excellent hunting accuracy.

IMR 4350 is popular. As is 4831 and H1000.

Experiment with LR primers, not just LRM primers.

Not sure you will get a powder charge recommendation other than start at min. and work up in either .3 or .5gr increments.

I did a light bullet scratch to determine my COL. Take an empty case that has not been resized and size just the edge of the neck, enough to hold the bullet, and chamber. Then pull back .030" until you get some time in. I see jamming bullets is popular to recommend on a lot of online sites, but I do not recommend to someone new.

Sierra MK is a great bullet, but it might not be your rifle's favorite. Also try Nosler 150gr BT.

H4831sc

I've had really good luck with H4831SC using Fed 215 primers

Not the fastest velocity, but the best accruracy.

I killed 11 big bucks in a row in their tracks with a 7mag, 150 gr Sierra GameKings with 65.0 grs of H4831SC, Ive also loaded 160 GameKings with H1000 and both 150 and 160 with Retumbo and AA3100, be careful if you jam a 7mag,(pressure spikes), mine seem to like .003-.012 off of "seated with the bolt" works best, I have a couple of 7 mag shooter using 140 GameKings with really good success on whitetails up to 225 lbs.
