Short n' Sweet; Will a 22BR Remington FL sizer die properly resize a 6x47L neck?

I want to resize the 6x47Lapua case neck into a 22x47Lapua case.

Do both the 6x47Lapua and the 22RemintonBR dies have the same shoulders so I can just run a standard (non-bushing) Redding or Forster 22Rem BR FL sizer die over the 6x47Lapua case and easilly turn it into a 22x47L case?

The BR has a shoulder dia. of aprox .4608 +/- and the 22/6 x 47 is .4581 .....so yes you can change the neck dia...but if you bump the shoulder just a lil it will baloon the case head and make them toooo fat on the front end and not work in your chamber.....the 22 Br die will not size them properly (can NOT be used as a resize die).....but just to size the nk portion enuff to make em...and maby turn the necks if your chamber dims require it ....???? Just take lots of measurements ....dont ruin a bunch of brass.!!!!!!!...Roger
Dont forget...they are 6.5 mm out of the box....so size em to 6mm first ....then go on down to .22 cal....(I have done similar antics ....but strongly reccomend to wait and have the rite die.....I dont want you to ruin your brass.....)

It's no problem buying a factory 6x47L full length sizer die (non-bushing)to get the 6.5x47 case down to 6mm.

But, I'm not sure what to purchase for the next step of getting the case further sized down to 224 for a 22x47L case. I want to be able to send a dummy cartridge to Dave Kiff to make a reamer based on it. So it should represent a 22x47L case that I can duplicate fairly easy and consistant to fit that reamer chamber.

You dont have to send Kiff any thing....he knows what will work as a no-turn or turn em as thin as you like....the headspace and body dims. are allready in place...use his reamer dims because they fit Redding and Forrster dies...no problem rite out of the box.........Roger
 
I'm still going to want to have dummy cartridges to send off to the die makers, or at least be able to properly form and make the ammo since nobody offers 22x47L dies. Thanks for your help.
