Wilbur,
I listed Shelley's machine tools for sale on the gunsmith forum. I am a one finger typer and will put it on the classifieds tomorrow. All funds will go to Shelley's Daughter. Any questions email me a papawlambert@starband.net. If anybody is looking for a lathe, they would be a complete fool not to jump on it right now!

Butch,

Just my thought here.......Is there any plan to make donation / contribution from us in this forum, just like the Michelle Sutton Memorial...to be contibuted to "American Hospice" in Texas, in Shelley's name?

I don't have any knowledge or capability to start this.....just a thought.
Sorry for my poor english!

Thanks,
seb.

From what i'm told shelly was a great guy. i didn't know him personally.
you have a great idea there. I'm busy with michelles drawing right now.
here's what you can do though. get some one to contact the hospace
in texas. see how they feel about having something like this.
plan ahead' You need good guys to kick in. I'm sure people who knew him will help. It may take up to 1 year to get everything in place.
You need some one in the states to start it up. I wish you well on this.

Glad to hear this.
It is my believe that we always can IF we want!

I am sure HE was! No doubt. Personally I consider him as one of my Mentors, and he was being a very good Friend!

I did receive an email from someone before...I am sure many of you here also received it. Will copy it here...

Shelley request that instead of flowers you make a contribution in his name to:

American Hospice

The personnel from American Hospice are wonderful! ..."""

You're right Gerry!...Somehow....someone in the States, should start it up. We know that Shelley is a good man...And we know that the donations will be contributed to a right place, too. I don't know what is "American Hospice", actually...I can't even find what "hospice" means in my english dictionary....but it must be good, and Shelley must be had good reason to chose it!

..............

C'mon guys, let's this idea begin!
We might find someone, Shelley's friend in the States,.... that we can send contribution to him and he then forward the contribution to the "American Hospice" (=as per pointed by Shelley).

Ideas, please?

Thanks you & much appreciated.

Being an "outsider" (I mean that I live in other country) I just didn't feel allright to start yesterday....but heck, this is for a good purpose/goal!
Okay, I will start this with contributing $100, in Shelley's name.
I am sure I can add some more later.
I only wish that we here can gather donations.....at least $ 2.500, in turn?

God Bless Us All!

Everyone think about and lets see what we can do. SEB... How about a discounted rest we could auction off? LOL

Rodney

Rodney, you're right...I think we can gather more donations by auction, or so, instead of donating cash. We usually have stuffs that only "lay" on our cabinet etc that we do not use it anymore.
Let me see if I can auction a rest or so in a few weeks.

This is just a hit of what hospice does. I have seen them work with people.
They take care of your personal needs when you are very sick and comfort you in your hour of need. Making People comfortable , getting ready to pass on. They heal your soul.
Their work is really appreciated by both the family and the person they are treating. Gerry

Gerry, Rodney,

Thank you for the informations.

I would not think twice to make contribution to the American Hospice, as pointed by Shelley, and from your description about it.
Just give me detail on what I have to do, please.

what do you want to do? If it's just a money donation have the money wired to hospice. An American bank can arrange this.
If you want to do more like the Michelle rifle then it may take some time.
It's up to you guys who have time to kick in. it's not just cash or even products . It's time. some one has to coordinate the effort.
these are great charity's All of the funds are greatly appreciated.
