The fourth match on the NBRSA Eastern Region schedule for 2021, and one I refuse to miss, was the Briar Hail Memorial Match at the Shelby County Deer Hunter's Association in Port Jefferson, Ohio.
Twenty-two benchrest shooters participated which is a solid turn-out and an increase from the past couple. We also had 3 shooters participate in their first registered match here this past weekend which was awesome. The weather was hot and humid, with enough wind to produce a big group if you're not paying attention.
Saturday morning DeWayne "Woody" Wood and his hot shooting new 3L/Bat stocked rifle took down the LV100 Agg with a .2134. Here are your top 5 and small group in the Agg:

A big thanks to the target scorer, target crew and all the Shelby County members who volunteered their time and efforts to make this such a well run match. I'd also like to thank Match Director, John Petteruti, for his match preparations and for running a great event.
I hope to see you all back in October for the fall finale.
