Sharping Lathe Tool Bits

What is the best type of stones for sharping Tool Steel and Carbide lathe bits with a six inch grinder?

White fine grit (60) medium density wheel for tool steel, Carbide is a different animal Green or Black silicon carbide wheel, followed by diamond to clean up edge. If it is a solid carbide tool then just a diamond wheel. This is just a basic idea.
