We wish the best to Chris Hillert, son of Polly Hillert, a safe journey as he enters Marine Boot Camp. Chris had many Junior wins in ARA and BR50, and we all know he'll do well whereever they send him. Polly had a little tear in her eye, but it was a happy one. Best wishs, Chris, do us all proud.

Fred, Dorothy and Polly,

I know that your so proud and yet a little apprehensive as the young one leaves the nest. We wish the best of luck to Chris and appreciate his desire to serve this great country and we'll pray for him. This will be a new and important adventure for him, as it was for me leaving for boot camp 38 years ago. My military days were some of the best times I had and definitely some of the most important in preparing me for life and I hope that this will be the same for Chris.

God Bless,
Les and Carrie.

Polly's son, a marine

Polly, I know Cris will do well and make you all proud. My son also joined the Marines when he was 17. It's kind of sad when they leave the nest. I want to wish him the best of luck and God bless......Slim

The Marine Corps is a lifetime event unlike other branches. There in no such thing as a former/x Marine. You will someday see what I mean.

The proudest event in your life is your last day of bootcamp when you are finally recognized as a Marine.

On behalf of the thousands of Marines that went before you, "Welcome" and a premature "Semper Fi".

I also agree,

The USMC is an "above honorable" endeavor and best of luck to you.

A premature "Semper Fi" to you also

As a former Paratrooper who did a few jumps back in the 50's I also thank you for your courage and forthcoming outstanding duty. Do us Proud,

Richard.

His friends took him sky diving last weekend. As for me, they would've had to push me out.
