Looking to get a an accurate dedicated benchrest .22 rifle. Right now I'm shooting a tricked out Ruer 10/22 with a Shillen barrel at the local matches. This gun has taken first place at everycomp I've shot with the last score being 250-10x last Sunday. It's a very unique 10/22 as it performs this well but I have to trick it to do so. I throw away my first and last shots of each mag loading because sometimes they are flyers. I would like something more consistent in a bolt gun with a flat bottomed stock so it fits nicely in my Hart rest. I have been looking at different actions to put a Lilja barrel on and I don't have enough experience to know what will work well. Can somebody give me a suggestion please?

If your 10/22 is shooting that good, don't change a thing. We all do some tricks to shoot our rifles best.

And what target. The IBS target is shoot a 250 or go home. If you are really looking for accuracy, why are you feeding from clip at all. If you are any where near VA, there are a lot of very good benchrest rifles available to try before you buy.
