Can someone tell me how the knob on the joystick to a Seb rest is held on?
I was thinking about finding some kind of exotic wood and turning it down just to have something different. I tried to spin it off and it didn’t move.

Jc,

The black acrylic knob is epoxy glued.
If you would like to change it with another knob, just hit the knob hard with a hammer, or knock the knob hard on steel or so. Yes, you would ruin the knob anyway. Heat would not work.
You can do the same thing (to glue) when you put the new wood knob.
Don't worry, if someday you need the factory knob again, I have many here.

Wrap the knob in a towel or heavy rag put on Eye protection.

Put the knob in the vise and squeeze it. It will disassemble very rapidly into a lot of fragments.
