Does anyone know how Sebastian and his new rifle are doing at the Super Shoot..?

He didn't place as well as he had hoped for but had a great time. It will likely be a couple of days before he will be able to respond to posts himself.
Both of them had some first time experiences in the lovely state of Wyoming after the SS.
I will let him post, once he gets home.
Truly a wonderful couple.

His poor wife is probably still shivering... Coldest person I have ever seen at a Supershoot...

Then again, I got back to Misery, where it was about 90 degrees or so...

As an aside on the "Seb" family, they donated over two dozen prizes for the SS merchandise give-away. Of the items I can remember, he donated a Seb rear bag and about 20 cartridge holders that were made out of a very pretty exotic wood.

Just got back home today...

Well, that's being the coldest time we have ever had, so far.....dry skin/lips, stiff fingers etc. BUT, I really had a great time at the SuperShoot!!!...It's worth for every penny I spent, to say the least.
Shortly, I did not do very well at the SS. (I only placed #191 for the 2 guns).
Several great guys tried my rifle and they said it shoots fine. No apology here, the rifle shoots pretty well, I like it, it's just about the driver, which didn't do the job well...

I would like to thanks you all at the SS that helped me, for the kind helps/offer etc...I can't name you all one by one anyway...I do really appreciate your kind helps/assistance and also for the welcome!
I will be there again next time, and I promise to do better.

Later with the details, seb.

Seb,

Experienced Super Shooters ALWAYS take lots of warm clothes. It's best to layer with a shirt covered by a sweatshirt or sweater plus a lightweight jacket that is warmish and that keeps out the wind and sheds rain. A hat and long pants and warm sox are necessary. Long john bottoms help on cold mornings.

If it warms up you can always take a layer off.

It was good to see you. We look forward to getting the rest of the parts for the Seb rest for Mike's cannon.

Best,

Dick Wright

Thanks for the tip, Dick. I will bring/use thicker clothings next time, for sure.

It was a pleasure to talk with you & Mike, and glad that the rest modification works on Mike's gun. I did like to shoot that superdooperloudenboomerearsplitzchen!

Well, I would be very busy in the next coming months, anyway we will make sure that Mike's rest will be completed in next month/June. We might probably make coaxial rests for heavy guns in the future, too...we are considering this now, but still depends on my time for sure. Some friends also suggest me to make one piece type coaxial rest for rimfire shooting (i.e. that the front & rear part would move in the same time/same plane, no twist part etc), and that should be interesting. Time will tell, anyway.

Take care, seb.
