Does the search engine to work here? I have some numb beginner questions that I'd rather search for but I'm coming up empty. For example, I type in the word cleaning and get no hits in the advanced search. I search titles and entire posts. The question is how many shots before you clean your barrel. I'm shooting a new .223 at 3400fps out of a heavy varmint barrel and am working up loads.

Did you type cleaning in the box in the advance search window or just on the box on the front page?

It works for me once I did that.
 
John, If I type it on the front page search I get hits. If I try the advanced search I get O hits. I'll keep trying. I like to search titles only to cull unrelated threads.

If you just clicked "advanced search" you will get a page which says "search multiple content types". You will not get any hits unless you tick the boxes!
The advanced search has a "search single content type" page too.

You can also save your search preferences.
