Scoring & Awarding!

I have spent the last two weeks updating my scoring programs. The response from testers was that the Award Print is something they really liked!
The RBA – IR50/50 program now has the Award Print built in. Besides importing the shooters and their scores it is easily customizable for those special awards. http://www.rimfirebenchrest.com/misc/test.html

The ARA program has the same Award Print and one often requested feature. It will now highlight the high score for each target and print an Award for those shooters.

The ‘Test Program’ page even has the start of an “Air Gun “Scoring Program for all you ‘Air Heads’ out there.

PLEASE-PLEASE TELL ME if you have any problems or receive any errors when using any of my Scoring Programs!! Sometimes coding errors will not show up when I test the programs but will when used on a different computer / software configuration. The only way I can fix them is if I get feedback

Thanks for your hard work in setting-up the scoring and awards program....I don't know if a lot of people realize how much work you have done over the last several years improving our scoring programs, and how much time we have saved because of your hard work!! We appreciate it and thank you again!!

I know it would not work on older Macs. My guess it should work on the newer macs that boot into windows. With that being said it will work with Windows 98 and above Windows operating system using Excel 2000, 2003 & 2007.
I recomend either Excel 2000 or 2003.

Test Run

Not sure if this will get posted, as I keep getting Run Time Errors on BRC. Keep asking me if I want to debug the script or some crap like that. On the other hand, I run several test matches with the 6/13 update, a really like the results. Now I need to get some quality certificate stock the make those awards look fantastic.

Line 11 & sometimes line 2385 contain some sort of error or misreferance. BRC is the only site where I have the problem. Thanks in advance.

I was using your latest version of the ARA scoring program to print some awards and discovered that on the fourth place award it is spelled "forth".
I'm not smart enough to change it so I'll leave that up to you.

Never could spell and Excel does not spell check my visual basic!
Thanks a lot for bringing that to my attention. I just fixed that mistake. It will not be a new version just a date change. 6/22/08 You can download the updated version from my website.

Larry my latest version will make it easy to move your shooters and their equip when going to an updated version of my scoring programs.

Data Base

Can you make it easier to transfer the data base information as well? Tried the transfer on the shooters, but it won't transfer the Database and I have to go back and enter everything on any new shooters or equipment.
Any hints that will make that part easier?

I am not sure what you mean about database?
My ARA , RBA, IR 50/50 & IBS Scoring Programs now have a “Move Names & Equipment” feature.
This will take all your Shooters and their Equipment from the Scores Sheet and import it into a newer version.
Once you have imported the only thing you have to do is go to the LkUpTables and Sort your shooters to the top.
If you are having problems just email or call me and I will walk you through it.
 
I meant

I meant to type Lookup Table. I had to reenter several new names and ID# that did not transfer. I think I got now.
