Scores from Salem, NY

Rick Ingraham and I had planned on making the 400 mile round trip to Holbrook, MA to shoot today but those plans disappeared along with the grill of my truck when I hit a deer last night. We got together at Salem to shoot a few targets for the indoor scoreline instead. We shoot from the meeting room at the club through a doorway into the indoor range and have been experimenting with the two forced hot air heating systems to see if we can find a consistent shootable combination. We marked todays experiment down as a failure, and next time will just dress for the cold and leave the damn things off!

Here are our scores:
12ftlb, both shot with EV-2's
Rick- 247-8X, 250-12X, 247-2X=744-22X
Todd-248-13X, 250-9X, 247-8X=745-30X

Springer, FWB 601
Rick- 244-8X, 247-7X, 245-10X=736-25X

Rick has quite a collection of old 10m Springers and SSP guns including the FWB 601 he shot for score today, an almost mint FWB 300, Diana 75, and Walther LGR. He was shooting the Walther when I arrived at the range and the Diana when I left. I'm looking forward to trying a few targets with one or more of them myself!

Salem Scoreline scores

Rick and Todd,
Glad you could shoot today. Norm Lieber had problems with his Theoben so I let him use my AA S-400 MPR-FT and was the only one to shoot the LV class he got a 744 34X.

Rick,
Your Springer score beat several HV scores at Holbrook today. Great shooting!
