It was a good day for a match, it rained a little before the match but it quit before match time. It was overcast with light conditions, just enough to keep the range honest( well as honest as the rock gets) for most of the match. The prevailing R-L condition switched to L-R for match 4 and got a little touchy and match 5 the sun came out to add another player into the game but all in all it was about as good as it gets at the Rock. We had a light turnout with 10 VFS and 2 Factory guns. Phil Lewis took the win with a last lap pass of your's truly, he's been taking lessons from Roy, he put just enough bumper on me to get me loose and sguirted by for the win with a 250-22x score. I hung on to 2nd with Roy beating the back bumper off trying to pass but I held him off with a 250-21x score, Roy was 3rd with 250-21x also, Butch Mays was 4th w 250-20x and Phillip Curtis was 5th w 250-19x. This was Phillip's first match with a benchgun and he did well. Zack Darnell was first in Fac w 244-10x, Paul Schaeffer was 2nd with 235-0x. Thank's to Phillip and Phil and Roy for all the work to make the matches possible, hope to see a better turnout next month. Steve
