Can anyone suggest a medium to low cost scope to use on my remington 700vls 6mm remington for 600 yard.

How about the Weaver fixed 24x or 36x....both are about $400.

Thanks, I have looked at the weaver fixed. Didn't really know what they would be like.

inexpensive scopes

The "new" Weaver scopes have 1/8 MOA adjustments and the turrets go from 0 to 4, then back down to 0. I just hate them for that when turning them to get longer range zero's. Love the scopes - hate the turrets.

I stumbled into some VERY NICE scopes through Natchez Shooting Supply. They are in both 6-24 and 8-32 power and repeat very well. At first the price made me very wary, but they are really very nice scopes. The brand name is TruGlo and the 6-24 was $49.49 and the 8-32 was $69.95. I think that there are probably only a few manufacturers of scopes in China and they will put whomever's name on them that orders them in quantity.

Might try one of these. I liked them so well I bought 6 of the 6-24's and 2 of the 8-32's.

For the price, give them a try. I own scopes all the way form 3/4" 22 scopes thru Leupold and NightForce and find these scope very nice.

Millett

I use the Millett 6-25 x 56. Its a low cost scope (440 USD) and gives excellent performance. It has a 35mm tube and comes with rings and sunshade. Consider it
