scopes which to go with

ok i going to be shooting u know 50 yards to 100 yards i was going to go with the weaver t-36 this will be going on a benchrest 40x but is that to high of a power or will that be perfect many have told me that its going to be way to high of a power thanks for help and if u guys think there is a good scope plz tell me what would be your top choice

A 36X scope will work fine if you're bench rest shooting. If you aren't bench shooting you better be steady as a rock, a big rock. A lot of folks use Weaver 36X scopes and some use others such as Leupold, Night Force, Bausch&Lomb, March, and probably a few others. There's a lot of folks using scopes with more power than 36X too.
